SwissReal, in partnership with BAK financiers, embarked on this ambitious project, assembling seven properties to create a cohesive yet competitive environment where dealerships could thrive, fostering healthy competition while serving the community's automotive needs.
Breaking New Ground in Zoning and Construction
Innovative zoning practices significantly accelerated the project's success. Franz, a visionary behind the concept, navigated through city hall's complexities, drafting a layout that transformed the idea into reality. Inspired by the existing Richmond Auto Mall and eager to replicate its success, Surrey embraced the concept, resulting in the fastest zoning approval process the city had seen - just two months. This swift approval paved the way for rapid development and delivery, showcasing SwissReal's capacity to drive projects forward efficiently.
A Comprehensive Automotive Destination
Beyond the dealerships, the Surrey Auto Mall was designed to be a comprehensive automotive destination. A strategically placed mechanic shop on the site's opposite end ensures top-notch maintenance services, with the dealership buildings featuring mechanics in the back and showrooms in the front. At the mall's core, a gas station, offices, and insurance spaces provide additional convenience, making it a one-stop shop for all automotive needs.
